Experienced journalist and longtime Tahoe local, Ann Lindemann joined Switchback as an account executive in January 2008. Lindemann's rich journalistic background is drawn upon in various duties including press release writing and copywriting, as well as media and client relations.
In recent years, Lindemann has focused her talents in the magazine feature writing genre, specializing in health and fitness, medical innovations and a myriad of human interest topics. Her work has appeared in a variety of regional and national publications including SKI, Luxury Living, RENO, and Tahoe Quarterly magazines. Additionally, Lindemann has written for a variety of special interest publications published by the Reno Gazette Journal Custom Publishing Group, Renown Regional Medical Center and Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Originally from Michigan, Lindemann is a graduate of the University of Montana's College of Journalism. She has served as a public relations coordinator at Sierra Nevada College and as a general assignment reporter at the Tahoe World where she received several state and national honors for her work in community journalism.
Lindemann lives on Lake Tahoe's west shore with her family. Like most locals, she spends as much time humanly possible playing outside, enjoying all that Tahoe-Truckee has to offer. During the winter, Lindemann coaches for Alpine Meadows' Junior Development Ski Team (think "French fries, not pizza"), but is unfortunately frequently left in the dust by her 11-year-old ski racing daughter.
